Mr. Viveek Sharma’s art is a poetic blend of introspection and dreamlike imagery. A graduate of Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai (BFA, 1993), he has spent three decades honing a style that feels both familiar and otherworldly. His solo exhibitions—from “Silence, Please!” and “New Form of Surrealistic Expression” in Mumbai to “The Quest” in Seattle—invite viewers into rich, layered narratives. In 2017, his series “Equilibrium” graced the Indian High Commission in Dar es Salaam, and a year earlier “Acts of Faith” appeared in Amboise, France. Viveek’s work has also been showcased in Switzerland’s Castle of Worb and at Galerie Beck & Eggeling in Germany. More recently, he’s participated in marquee group shows such as Confluence 24 in New Delhi, the Seattle Art Fair 24, and Art Salon Zurich. Through his paintings, Viveek Sharma explores the meeting point of memory and imagination, inviting each of us to step into his uniquely woven worlds.
